Kent Classic

About the Kent Classic
Over the last 25 years the club has organised and hosted the prestigious Kent Classic and British All Comers Sea Angling Championship from the north shores of the Island. In the early years when the competition was a 5 mile rover it attracted an average of 500 anglers from all over the south of England, but because of sea defence works the competition entry had to be reduced to 400 anglers all of whom were competing for a prize fund of just over £3,000.

The new committee decided it was time for a change and decided to turn the match into a pegged event, since then the competition has gone from strength to strength with the entry books closed well over a month before hand.

The 2010 Kent Classic will be held on November 21st
